Meet our Volunteer Centre Team

Fiona Cunnane, Manager
Fiona Cunnane is the Manager of Carlow Volunteer Centre since its inception in July 2006. Fiona worked in a range of charitable and not-for-profit organisations including Co-operation Ireland, the Carers Association and University College Dublin. Fiona is a trainer of the Volunteer Management Training programme, and is involved in numerous local fora, networks and organisations. She also is a member of the Board of Directors of Volunteer Ireland.
Aisling O'Rourke, Placement Officer (Job-share)
Aisling has worked with us since 2007. Aisling's previous employment includes teaching and working with Carlow Arts Office. Aisling is also an accredited trainer for Volunteer Management Training, and has recently completed the Effective Management of Volunteers course with Queen's University Belfast.
Natasha Akerele, Placement Officer (Job-share)
Natasha commenced her involvement with Carlow Volunteer Centre as a volunteer herself, and became an employee in 2010. She previously worked in the hospitality industry and has a wide range of volunteering experience and interests, including Citizen's Advice, Special Olympics, and local sports clubs.
